Balgety and Co., Ltd., l'alnicntqn A'orth, report- having held their fortnightly sale at Tnihape on Wednesday, when a small yarding of sheep and cattle came forward:—Quotations: 2-tooth wethers, 33e.; fat and forward ewes, 275. 6d.; yearling steere, £7; dairy cows, aged, £5 ss. to £8 2s. 6d.;. 3-year dairy heifers coining to profit, £13 sa. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. report:—At Himatangi onMonday we had a moderate yordiug of both sheep and cattle. Bidding was brisk, and with the exception of one line of dairy cows, we cleared the yard under the hammer. Quotations: Fair hoggets, 17s. 7d. to 305.; ewes in lamb, 225. 6d.; springing heifers, £9 2s. 6tl. to £11 55.; dairy cows, £6 ss. to £8; forward cows, £9; store cows, £4 10s. to £5 55.; 15-month heifers, £3 3s. to £3 Bs. j weaners, 30a.; weaner pigs, 15s. Gd. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report that at their Levin yards oif Tuesday they offered a good yarding of sheep and a small entry of cattle. Competition was pood and a clearance made at tho following prices: Light fat ewes, 28s. 6d.; forward condition ewes, 265. 6i1.; good hoggets, 215.; medium ditto, 17s. 9d. to 18s. 9d.; small ditto, 14b. 2(1. to 15s. 6d.; cows in milk, £9 10s.
