G. W. Aitkcn, M.L.C., and Mi Thomas I'orsyth, but an extraordinar; vacancy was also caused by the volim t.iry retire.nent of Mr. William Allan so flint there were two elections for th Wellington city district yesterday, th result of which was as follows:— WELLINGTON URBAN AREA. It is worthy of note that tho personnel of the board has been almost wholly changed sineo the alteration of the boundaries of the Wellington Education District inado in July, I'JtG; The. only members remaining on the board now who were members prior to the alteration are Mc-asrs. T. Moss, A. W. Hogg, and W. 11. Field. . The. new chairman of the board (to replace the Hon. J. G. \Y.
