CUSTOMS REVENUE
The Hon. Arthur It. .Myers, Minister of Customs, informs us that tho amount of Customs revenue collected throughout tho Dominion for the month of July was ,£282,113, and tiie excise t>scr duty Ji22,(isJ. The figures for the month of July, 1917, wero and .£13,726 respectively. Tho increase in lite excise beer Auty is accounted for by the increased rate of duty, which came into operation on September 15, 1017.
