At the Police Court, Frauds Walker, an old man, was charged with making a< disloyal utterance-, namely, "To Hell with tho British ilag, lung George, and Maseey and Allen." The words wero used when tho police went to arrest accused's eon Gilbert, who disappeared in thu bush and has not been ecen since, A rifle, a eheath knife, and two largo pocket knives found 6n tho property were produced in court. Accused pleaded guilty. Counsel raid the eon would probably bo turned down when medically examined. The words complained of had been used in_a moraont of excitement and in bravatio. Accused was sorry, and would assist the pol : ce in bringing his eon in. Senior-Sergeant Cassells said tho country had been put to considerable expense. Tho eon would .have- come in but for th* father, who had done everything to obstruct tho authorities. Tho polico did not want assistance in getting tho 6on.
