ESCAPE OF GERMANS
INQUIRY TO BE MADE,
The Minister of Defence (Sir James Allen) lias referred to the Commandant of the- Forces for inquiry the matter of tho escape ui German prisoners from Somes Island. In due course there will be a court of inquiry to investigate thn affair, and if the circumstances should warrant it court-martial proceedings may follow.
