HINT OF NEW GERMAN BRUTALITIES
THE USUAL SYMPTOMATIC PROTEST. London, July 30. The Ministry for Information states that the question whether Germany is contemplating some fresh barbarous innovation is suggested by the persistent allegations that the British are using unlawful bullets. Germany recently protested to the British Government in this connection, and the reply of tho Foreign Oflwa showed that' tho protest wis absolutely unjustified. The British; Government knows that a German accusation of thjs kind is usually advanced us an ejecuso for some prepared and concerted violation of the laws and customs of war, and the Foreign Office has notified Germany that any such fresh outrage will be mot with prompt and stern reprisals,—Aas.-N.Z.
