MUST CHOOSE BETWEEN WORK , AND IMPRISONMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association, Auckland, July 31. Mr. Rawson, 5.M.,, gave reserved judgment in the case', against the Jugoslavs tried at Taumarunui, arising out of their refusal to perform work required ,of them. Each defendant was convicted and ordered to come up for sentenco if . called, upon within three months if ho fails to nndertako such work required by direction of the Commissioner or the Court. The Magistrate added that he considered that it was in the interests of tho country that they should cam out n national service than that thoy should, be sent to gaol. .;'
