Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd.. Palmersi on North, report:—We held our usual hide sale on July 2fi, nnd submitted a good catalogue. All hides wero firm at last sale rates. Calfskins advanced 3d. for best lines, and tallow sold well at late rates. Quotations:—-Ifedium ox. 1 lid. to Hid.; light: ox, lfld. to lljd.; heavy, cow, Ojd.; medium, cov.-. 91d.: light, cow, !Hd.; COW, cut ond inferior, 7-\<l ._ to BJd.; yearlings, 9Jd. to lid.;'horse hides, 11s. to 15s. Gd.; calfskins, Hid.; calfskins (lneijty), 12fd.; calfskins, cut and inferior, 'Sd. to 12d.; tallow (in tins), 30s. Kd. per cwt.; cow fails, Gd. per dozen.
