At Seatoun Inst "Saturday the Brooklyn Harriers and A.A. Club held their annual teams' race i"r the pewter pot. The course selected was about 51 t.o 53 nviles. The excellent trail laid by W. Harbison and A. E. Watson led from the Seatoun tram terminus through the tunnel and down the road as far as the Miramar power-house. Leaviug the tramline, it cut over in a northerly direction up to the Glen, then round and down past the Miramar gasworks, finally cumin!,' out on the Seatoun trijiu-liue and turning towards home. Four veVy keen teams competed for the race, and the. supporters witnessed some very closo finishes. C. Cummins started off at a good pace, keeping with the pack for about three miles. He filially drew away, with R. Watson running sceond and AV. Hussel third. On reaching the Miramar gasworks W. Calvert came up and passed HiKsell and held third position. The positions of tho first three men then remained unaltered to the end, C. Cummins finishing first. U. Watson second, and W. Calvert third. C. Cummins eainiii! the fastest time villi 35min. .17sec. .All"!' Ihe race the members and supporters met at afternoon tea. The club contain announced the winniii" team, and also the winners for the sealed handicap. The results were a« follow:—C. Cnmmi ll;, s team. points; K. Watson's (earn. HI noints: T'\ Harlon's team, 37 mints; S. Oldfield's team, 30 points. C. Cummins secured first place in the sealed linndican and W. Calvert second. The blue ribbons donated by Jlrs. W.
