GERMAN TRADE INTERESTS OUSTED
"YORWAERTS" VIEW OF IMPERIAL PREFERENCE. Amsterdam, July 28. The British decision for Empire preference has deeply impressed Germany. •The "Vorwuerts" says: "This is,one of the most important actions .taken during the war. Apart from its economic imnortance it must have a. lasting iiolitical effect, with the gravest consequences for Germany. The decision proves that Greater Britain is very much closer in unity than tho Germans ever thought possible. Tho British Empire will bo strengthened extraordinarily, and Germany will therefore be in great danger of being ousted from her best markets." i-Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
