Forming part of a campaign for the Advancement of the cause, of educational progress a public meeting is to be held in Fealherston 011 Wednesday night, under the auspices of tho Wairarapa Branch of tho Now Zealand Educational Association. Mr. P. L. Combs, M.A. '(Masterton) will bo the principal spsaker. .As this is the first meeting of the kind ever convened for Feathorston, considetable interest i* being centred, in the fixture. It is, intended fr> give, special attention to pressing local requirements in tho matter of school accommodation. The Camp Commandant at Feathorston acknowledges with thanks receipt of the following gifts to the Camp Hospital:— Salvation Army, Featlicrston, sweets and handkerchiefs; Mrs. Q. Donald, Feathcrston, poultry; AVairarapa Hospital Coinmitlei! (per Mrs. Q. Donald), cakes, gramophone. Tlio Camp Commandant at Trentham acknowledges with thanks receipt of 1501b. of pumpkins, from the Ladies' Patriotic League, New Plymouth. The pumpkins have been issued to tho various cookhouses in camp,
