Tho r-ieeutivo of Jhe National Council of the New Zealand Alliance met last evening, tjie Rev. W. J. C'mine presiding. The work of the coming petition campaign was the main business ill the meeting. Much appreciation tvas expressed that the Hanover Baptist Church, Dnnedin, had agreed to release the Rev. R. S. Gray from his pastoral work till tho end of this year that ho may devote his whole time to tile organisation of the campaign, to free New '/.eidaiul from the liquor trallie. Mr. Gray was appointed Dominion organiser. Three, area, organisers are arriving in the Dominion within tho next few days. Electoral organisers aic being appointed iji various parts of the Dominion. Ar-j-iingemems are in hand for the Press iin'd platform campaign which will bo started .shortly.
