Destruction by fire of a commissary store-house at Augsberg, Bavaria, cost ft bravo French- prisoner of war his life. The storehouse contained (lour, hay, and straw to the value of nearly .C 50.000. Seizing his opportunity, the Frenchman set it afire, the whole of the content'? being destroyed.
