The appointments, promotions, and resignations of Ihe undermentioned officers of tho Royal New Zealand Artillery and Territorial Force, and the reposting of officers from the New Zealand Expeditionary Force to the Territorial Force, have Men approved:—

Lieutenant-Colonel Percival R. Cook, M.8., N.Z. Medical Corps, is appointed Assistant Director of Medical .Services. Wellington Military District. Dated July 1, 1918.

Captain (temporary Lieutenant-Colonel) Mathew Holmes, JI.H., relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Director of Medical Services, Wellington Military District (dated July 1. 1918), and retains tho temporary rank of lieuten;;nt-colo:iel until further notice.

Lieutenant George I'inlny, N.Z. Garrison Artillery, Wellington, G.A. Division, is appointed ship's adjutant jnd quartermaster on a transport, and w granted the temporary rank of caplain whilst so employed. Dated July 7, 1918. 2nd. Lieutenant (temporary) Robert Norbury, 'Unattached List (b), General List, is appointed electrician in charge in the branch of the Director of Railways and Works, will) the temporary rank of 2nd lienteiiiint whilst so employed. Dated July 1, 1918. Koyal New Zealand Artillery. Hon. Lieutenant Hans C. Petersen i.9 granted the honorary rank of captain (temp.) whilst.commanding the Field Artillery Cadre at Wellington. Frederick W. .Kibblewhito is transferred temporarily to tho New Zealand Army Ordnance Department, and is granted the honorary rank of lieutenant supernumerary to establishment whilst so employed.
