ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
KNOCKED DOWN BY A TAXI. About twenty minutes past 10 on Saturday night, an accident happened at the corner of Vivian Street anil Cambridge Terrace, a woman named Jlis. Madge lJitson. who 'lives at No. 2 Knife's Avenue, oft Vivian Street, being knocked down by a taxicab. Mrs. Hilson received injuries to the face, and one'of her ribs was also fractured. She was admitted to the Hospital at 11 p. u., and last night she was reported to be pro-grcssiii-r very weli. While working on the road in Cmirteuay Place mi Saturday luorung, a nan named William Cronließ who ivr-ldes at Bridge Street, Kilbirni?, fell mid suffered a fracture of the rgiit leg below the knee. He was removed lo the Hospital, where he is reported lo be progressing favourably.
