On tliG anniversary of the taking of the Bastille (July' 14)_ Gchoral Foch sent a message of greeting to the American, people, in the oourso of which ho said:— "Wo are fighting for the whole world. - 'J'lic enemy's plans for domination 'are v Gtopned, and lie sees the number of his e adversaries daily increasing.
