JOHXSONVILLE CLIJU.
The tenth annual meeting of tho Johiisonvillo Bowling Club was held on Wednesday evening in the presence of a largo number of members. The meeting expressed approval of most of tho proposals contained in tho memorandum issued by the centre, and the club was prepared to co-operate in tho purchase of a digester, provided the scheme is carried out on a pro rata basis.
Tho president (Mr. K. Turner), in moving the adoption of tho report and. bal-ance-sheet,! said tho past season was a most successful one, and the finances satisfactory. The following officers were elected for the ensuing season:—f'resident, Mr. 11. 15. Kurrap'; vice-president, Mr. Alee Morgan; directors, Messrs. W. L. Thomiison, I'. T. O'Neill, It. Turner, F. Bethuno, and J. Bod; lion, secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. Ford; hon. auditor, Mr. V. A. Mills; delegnto to Wellington Centre, Mr. F. Jacobs; Match Committee, Messrs. Taplin, Jacobs, and Orr. A proposal to strengthen tho finances of tho club was brought forward by one of ffio members. Owing to tho importance of tho proposal it was decided to adjourn the meeting to a. Inter date to cnnblo members to discuss it.
