I Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having lield their weekly sale iu the Levin yards oil Tuesday, when they oiVorcd a good yarding of sheep aud a small one of cattle. Owing to tho exceptionally wet weather the usual attendance of buyers was missing, and competition throughout was dull. Principal sales effected were an under:—l!ediuni woolly lioggelii. Us. 3d. to 155.; good woolly hogget;, 18s. td. to 195.; light-weight fat not hers, 525. The Wairarapa Farmora' Co-opcrativo Association, Ltd., report having held a very successful clearing sale, on account of Mr. S. Garrity, of (Ireytown, on 'l'uesf (lay. The cows came forward in good condition, and mot with keen competition from - a good attendance of buyers, tho whole 1 herd making the satisfactory average of £1J is. The Wairarapa Farmers' Co-operativo " Association, Ltd., report liaTing horse sale iu the Colombo Road yards last Saturday, when tliey offered 62 horses to a large attendance of buyers from tho ' various parts of the district. Competition was not very keen over hacks or light horses, but draughts realised good prices. Quotations:— Draught horses, £27. £30, i-3'2 10s.. £35 to £37 10s.; half-draughts, £8, £9 95.. £11 to £15; hacks. £6 to £14.
