EXCHANGE OF WAR PRISONERS
NEGOTIATIONS WITH TURKEY. London, July 16. Speaking in the House of Commons, Hi'- Bonar Law confirmed the report that tho Prisoners of Witr Confcrcnco at Tlio Hague had reached an agreement, subject to ratification by tho Governments. At tho final meeting of tho War Prisoners' Conference Lord Newton pointed out the difficulty of carrying out tho agreement owing to peculiar circumstances, tho chief being tho difficulty of transport, as the Germans held by Britain avo scattered all over the globe. Ho hoped that the provisions would be liberally interpreted by both parties.— Renter.
