FORTY-FOURTH REINFORCEMENTS
About ninety recruits from Group .> (Wellington City and Suburbs) for the Forthy-fourth Reinforcements wero concentrated yesterday afternoon at tho Bucklo Street Barracks. Tho draft paraded almost at full strength, tho only absentees being men whoso appeals have not yet been decided. Moro than hall werrf married men. Tho Group Commander, Major A. A. Corrigan, inspected the men after tho • roll had been called 'and briefly addressed 'them on the subject of their new duties.
