ARCHBISHOP O'SHEA AND LABOUR
Sir. —I am sure you will kindly allow mo a little space to thank "Not a P.l'.A. Mwulior" for telling us what; Archbishop O'Shea did mean in his speech, \oiir correspondent suggests that if Jlis Ciraco included our Government or King in his sorry category he would have said so. Well, now we have conio to the point. But tho trouble is he did nol: say so, but included all countries and rulers. I would not insinuate for one moment the Bishop was trimming his words to suit his audience, as some are apt to do, but to say tho least of.it ho m verj hard on his co-religionists —Austria, for v instance, or tho Latin States ot America, whero a labourer is valued at about sixpence per day. Thevo was no ]m7«:onstruing statement iu my letter. 1 was simply asking Jlis Grace a question, oiul I am sure the columns of The Dominion are open to him to give a reply.—l am, CtC " A P.P.A. MEMBER, July 16. -
