North, only ma.lo assistant lit the school. Counsel pointed out Ihilt the Board of Education declined to appeal, and the committee wag forced to ask for au extension of tinio till the eiid of tho year. The chairman (Mr. H. W. Bishop) said counsel asked them to approve the principle of tho committee poiufj over the head of tho Education Board, which was constituted to authorise these matters, and whoso representations were bound to havo weight. Counsel held that a competent Military Service Board could find that the Board of Education had not properly considered the matter. Eventually an extension till October was allowed.
