APPEAL IN A MILK CASE
LEGAL ARGUMENT HEARD. When the appeal cas,o of the City Milk Supply, Ltd., against n decision of Mr. S. E. M'Cn'rthy, S.M., who convicted the appellants on. a charge of selling milk containing dirt without informing the purchaser of the adulteration, ana fined them «£ls, was heard by His HonChief Justice (Sir Eobert Stout) on Tuesday certain law points wen: reserved for the decision of the Apnea! Court. Yesterday afternoon His Honour the Chief Justice, His Honour Mr. Justice Chapman, and His Honour Mr. Justice Herdman heard argument on the law points, and reserved their decision. Mr. M. Myers appeared for tho appellants and Mr. J. Prendevilie, of thn Crown Law Office, for the Crown.
