SUBMARINE'S FIGHT WITH SEAPLANES
ODDS OF 5 TO 1. (Rec. July 10, -8.15 p.m.) London, July 9. The Admiralty reports: "A British"submarine, while patrolling tho east coast, was attacked, on the afternoon of July G, by fivo enemy seaplanes ueing bombs and machine-gun fire. Tho submarine f suffered only elight damage, and was t towed to harbour by another submarine. - Ono officer and fivo men woro killed."— Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn.-Reuter.
