GERMAN RIGHT TO SEARCH HOSPITAL SHIPS London, July 9. In the House of Commons, Dr. T. J. , Macnamara (Secretary to tho Admiralty) stated that the commanders of German submarines had on several occasions exorcised their right to search hospital ships in order to seo that they were complying with The Haguo Convention. Ho emphasised that Britain had never broken the letter or spirit of tho Convention. Ho believed tho same was true regarding the Allies.—Reutor.
