Sir A. Bodkin, K.C., prosecuting couneel, said that tho prisoner in 1907 trans- " fcrred from the G'onnaught Rangers to " the Reserve. Ho was called up at the ,J outbreak of war, and accompanied tho K original expeditionary force to France, and was taken prisoner. The Germans ~ planned to concentrate the Irish prisoners at Limberglahn, and two thousand j were there at the end of December, 1914. J Hiey were well treated. Prisoner and , l three others, Quinless, Iveogh, and Bailoy, " stood out prominently among the prison- . ers. Quinless, Keegh, and Dowling seemed to be acting together in concert ~ with Casement Counsel said that pvisoner explained that ho was washed ashore from a torpedoed vessel.
