CONFERENCE OF HARBOUR BOARDS
REMITS FROM NAPIER, (By Telegraph-Special Correspondent.) Napier, July 9. To-day the Napier Harbour Board strongly supported the remit for tho annual Conference of Harbour Boards drafted by Wellington, which urges that boards should be given sole control of labour on the waterfront. Remits protesting against Government cargo "being landed free and tho abolition of Government nominees wero likewise strongly supported.
