By Telegraph— Press Association. Auckland, July 9. in a speech at Helen,sville to-night Sir James Allon said that New Zealand to "ate hnd sent away'9s,ooo soldiers. Over 22,000 had returned. Ho was hopeful we should bo able shortly to reduco the reinforcement quota to what it was a few months ago.
