London, .Tuly 7. An Independent Labour meeting at Woolwich,- called by Mr. llamsay Macdonald, was broken up by discharged soldiers and others, who forced their way in. There was a violent struggle, in which sticks, stones, and broken ehaira were used on both sides. Mr. Macdonald escaped by a .back entrance.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
