FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications arc for high westerly winds and changeable and squally weather. Eain is probablo generally, and snow on llio high country of the South Island. Barometer unsteady. The weather has been unsettled generally, with rain at times in most parti of the country, and snow on somo of the higher level* in tho south.
