MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
INTER-CLUB MATCHES. The Wellington Miniature Rifle Association commenced a series of inter-club contests last week, and the result of the first round is raising much enthusiasm in tho clubs. Some very keen contests wero witnessed and the touriiarapnt promises to bo highly successful. Tlio conditions arc: 5 men aside, 7 shots wiffi optional sisliter, tho possible is 70 per man, and 350 per tenia. The clubs havo taken tho matter up enthusiastically, and 9 teams are comiidiiiß in A grade and 8 in the B grade.
