COST OF GOLD PRODUCTION
London, July i. An important representative meeting of the Empire Gold Producers' Association was held in London. Lord Harris, who presided, related the efforts which had been made during the past six mouths to 'induce the British Government to consider, the increased cost of producing gold, but which had been without result. A committee composed of Lord Harris, Sir Lionel Phillip's, Major-General Sir Newlon Moore, Mr. 'Edgar Taylor, Mr. D. 0. Malcolm, and Mr. Herbert Blylh was tippointed to preparo a case for presentation to the Government.—lteuter.
