FIRE AT MIRAMAR
•U 2 p.m. on 'Thursday the seven-room-eri dwelling of Mr. Alexander M'Vicar, in MnilaL Road, Miraniar (opposite tho tramway stopping-place), was found to be on live. The local brigido was summoned as quickly as possible, but before the ilnnies could be cxtinprui.shod the kitchen and the back part of the liouso were considerably damaged by firo and smoke. An examination showed that the outbreak- was caused by the fusing of an electric wire. The residence (formerly the homo of Mr. V. R. Meredith) was insured in the Sun office for ,£S(RI, and tho contents in the Royal office for JSiiO.
