*—■ ' OK DEPi OF DIUTIDS. The monthly 'meeting of the Royal 'Arch Chapter, U.A.0.D., was held in tho .Wellington Town Hall on Wednesday .night, the Past President, Bro. A. J. Kurris, presiding, assisted by Bro. J. jUiddleton, U.V..Y. 'J'hcro was a very {,'ood attendance of members. The first degree of the chapter was conferred on two and ' the higher degree of a I'ast Arch. 011 one member of the Order. Bro. Williams reported in connection with his juvenile lodge schema that much ■valuable information had boon received from Bro. S. C. liiches, superintendent of the juvenile lodges in South Australia, and from Canterbury and Otago dis-.. trii'ts, and the committee recommended that a meeting of delegates appointed by tho various lodges bo held this month to further discuss the Bchenio and to prepare a report to bo considered by ' the lodges interested. Tho recommenda- ! 'tinn was agreed to. It was decide.l to pay an official visit to the Island Hay Lodge on July 25 for ' the purpose of presenting that lodge with 1 ritual competition shield recently 1 wrested by it from Coronation Lodge. " • In connection with Bro. Johnstone's superannuation scheme it was arranged ■ that the committee draw up a circulai sind request the Grand Lodge Executive ; to consider the advisability of having '< Fame printed and forward a copy to each lodge under its jurisdiction far cousid- J eration. ' D.P. Bro. Crouk moved that in future J the ritual competitions-bo held in April - and October instead of May and Novem- ■ lior. The motion was agreed to -with 1 only one dissentient. On the motion of Bro. Sarjeant. seconded by liro. W. Brown, it was decided to discuss at iho next mceling the order paper, of the Boyal Arch Chapter in ' IJtincdin, to see what improvements (it any) could be effected in the procedure v of (l>e Wellington Chapter. 1 (
