The following telegram has been dispatched by Mr. C, A, Bridge, president of the local Farmers' Union, ; to Air. E. J. My main complaint is. that no time was given to refer the matter lo the wool-growers. The period after the war is not ono year, but really means two clips, and 1 am suro the wool-growers of Poverty Bay, if they understood the whole position, would not approve of this." The AYool Committee, representing the sheepowners of this district, held a meeting, Ah 1 . AV. G. Sherratt presiding. It was decided to call a full meeting of shecpowntirs for Saturday to consider the wool purchase scheme.'
