MAN FOUND DROAVNED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Ashburton, July 1. Advice lias been received from Longbush homestead that a man named M'Nearn, afjed sixty, who was employed by Mr. John tirigg, was found drowned in a creek near the homestead at G o'clock this morning. He was last seen alive at midnight. ELDERLY WOMAN FOUND DEAD. Oamaru, July 1. An elderly woman named Sirs. Barry, whose husband is in the North Island, was found dead this morning at her home, where she had been living alone. She had not been seen since Tuesday last.' The police entered the house. Deceased apparently bled to death thronga a burst varicose vein. The indications are that slit* had been dead for several days. -
