STATEMENT BY MR- HOLMAN (R-ec. July 1, 11.20 p.m.)
Sydney, July 1. Mr. Holman (Now South Wales State addressing the "first conference of tho National Association, said that the Government intended to introduce a moro effective law to deal with sedition. Fines and imprisonment wero useless. Tlio punishment proposed was to disqualify offenders from holding any public position—whether municipal or political—for life.—l'ress Assn.
