HAWERA WINTER SHOW
PUBLIC SCHOOLS CHALLENGE SHIELD. By Toloeraph.—Press Association. Hawera, June 30. The West End School, New Plymouth, won the challenge shield, valued at ten guineas, awarded to the primary school fccuring the most points in the publio schools section at the Hawera WinterShow. Piliitnu comes second and Hawera District High School third. There was a record number of entries. The prospects are that this year's show will be a great success.
