By' Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, June 28. The rain having continued intermittently all the week grain market conditions have been very quiet. . There has been very little grain or produce of ary kind offering. Some fowl wheat is coming forward, but very little grain of milling quality. Oats are -ery quiet, and there is little demand for chaif,'owirg to the difficulty of shipping. I'otatoes were firmer during the week, and up !o ,£G os. was given both for whites and Dakota reds. The report of a large shipment of Australian potatoes coming ■ to the North Island lias since, however, Jiad the effect of weakening the market, find buyers are not now offering more than. ,£6 and flown to £5 15s.
