A HOSPITAL FARM
When the correspondence was being called over ht the meeting of the Wellington Hospital and Charitable Aid Board yesterday a letter from Mr. 11. Strand in connection with the shortage of milk', was called for, but instead of tho secretary reading the letter in the ordinary way (he chairman motioned that official to pass it do"*n to the inquirer. On this being completed Mr. F. T. Moore! said with regard to the milk supply that he hoped now that the »board would go ahead with the farm scheme. The chairman: The Miuister is now in favour of it, anil promises us a .£1 for .£1 subsidy. So I hope you'll help me! Mr. J. Smith: Yes-with n farm ;it Johnsonville! w Mr. Moore: No. .Tohnsonvit'.e laud is not sooi! enough for a dairy, farm! Mrs. Mj'Laren also expressed her delight at the Minister's change of attitude over the farm proposal.
