HEAVY RAIN
Very heavy rain poured down steadily all day yestsrday, i.nd tho Government Meteorologist states that indications are that further rain is probable generally, heavy in many parts. Snow is probable on tlio higher levels, and much coldor ccndilions may bo expected. Tho prospect last night was that thero would bo unsettled and squally weather with strong westerly winds, backing to southerly soon.
