SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
Mr. K. w. Tiurd provided a very s,ucccssful programme for the men at the Sailors' Friend Society on Tuesday. AH tlio performers were recoived with vigorous applause. Thoy were: Mrs. Bnrd, the Misses Eva Smith, Nicholas, .Hobinson, and Wing, and Messrs. Green, Claude Tucker, and Unrd. The whole of the items were encored. Mrs. Burl :uid the .Misses .Nicholas, Smilh, unci Wing were atjlie piano. During, an interval Mr. JFboro, missioner, spoke, on '"Who?" and men signed the pledge book. The conundrum prizes went to men in port. Cheers were given at thecloso of the. evening.
