~ » NO \ OFFICIAL PLANTINGS. The chairman of tho Eeserves Committee (Councillor Profit) has learned that Arbor Day will not be celebrated this year by the Government. This season, the Eeserves Commiteo has a limited number of trees and shrubs available for distribution to the public for plantin? in theic gardens. Although there will be no official celebration or function in. connection with tree-planting operations, the committee desire to continue their policy of giving those citizens TV-ho appreciate them a few trees to improve their properties and theroby help to beautify the city. Application's will bo received l>y 'the Town Clerk up to Juno 29 from citizens who desire to participate in the grant.
