The loilowiiif; n.c.o.'s and men of the 41st Mounted Rilles, having obtained the necessary number of points in Part 111, G.S. Musketry Course for N.Z. Reinforcements, are entitled to wear marksmen's badges :-Sgts. S. A. Quarterman, T. R. Taylor, Cpls. A. T. Free, B. J. Rayner, Ptes. W. G. Anderson, .R. A. Beel, H. Campbell, A. D. Harris, A. V. Paterson, M, R, Smith, H. P. Wills, T. C. Buigent, G. H. R. P. Goodriek, V. J. Nicol, .T. A. Robertson, G. Stewart, E. W. Coombe. > S.M. A. D. Cook, having obtained 154 points in Part 111, G.S. Musketry Course for N.Z. Reinforcements, is adjudged the best shot in the 41st Mounted Rides, and is entitled to 'wear the badge provided fop.' The following temporary appointments .have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Featherston:—Cpl. H. R. Hobart, D Coy., CI, to bo sergeant; Sgt. C. J. Smith, E Coy, Cl, to be company sergeant-major;. Cpl. A. E. AValker, jj Coy., Cl, to be quartermaster-sergeant; Cpl. H. Macalister, 45th N.Z.F.A., to be • temporary sergeant; Cpl. It. D. Lovelock, 45th N.Z.F.A. to be temporary sergeant; Gnr. G. Gilchrist, 45th N.Z.F.A., to be temporary bombardier. The following temporary appointments have been approve! by the Camp Commandant at Trenthsim:—A.S.C. (Supply Depot Establishment):-Sgt. A. B. Black to be staff-sergeant; Cpl. S. F. Bas«' to be sergeant; Ptcs.,C. 11. Maginley and P. J. Fairfax to be corporals; Lee.-Cpl. E. R. Coutts, 45th .Reinforcements, has been appointed probationaw corporal
