THOS. MOORE ANNIVERSARY

The anniversary of Thomas Moore, the freat lyric poet of Ireland, occurs on lay 28, but through unforeseen circumstances the celebration of it this year had to 1)0 postponed, and will take place on Monday next, July ], at tho Town .Hall. The preliminary competitions will lake place at'tlu Concert Chamber of • tho Town Hall next Saturday, commencing at' 11 a.m. As the public have not had the opportunity for many years to witness these .interesting and entertaining forms of concerts they will have a chance of doing so next Saturday afternoon. The convert on Monday will mainly be concerted items, with solos by Misses Teresa M'Enroe, Agnes Segrief, and M. M'Kcowen. The box plan opens at the Bristol Piano Company on Wednesday 'morning.
