THE REINFORCEMENTS
CONCERNING DATES OF CALLIN®
The Defence authorities have no announcement to make yet about the postponement or possible postponement of the concentration dates of B and 0 Class men ordered to cam 5. Ail . tho indications, however, are that the married men with ono or two children may not havo to go to Trentham on tho dates appointed. Much had to depend on tho luck of tho Division at tho front, and this summer tho Division lias had to date the most extraordinarily. good luck, considering tho severity of tho fighting that has occurred on the front. It is not yet safe for tho Now Zealand Government to base its arrangements on the casualty list, but if for the rest of the summer they keep so small--rolatively—it is stated to be likely that the concentration dates of reinforcements to he called up for fighting in tho 1915 summer in France may bo postponed.* The New Zealand Division began this fumnjer with big reserves, and these reserves are still about as big. as they were boforo the fighting began.-
