Tho Kowhai and Kamona, whicli sailed on Saturday for Grcymonth, will again load for Wellington. Tho Komata, with a full load of Westport coal, will be discharging at-Welling-ton to-d«y. . . . A report .was- presented to tho Federal Parliament recently showing that the number of vessels withdrawn from service in Australian waters since tho war was 62, with a gross touiiiißci of 252.240 (states an exchange). Details are as follow:—33 vessels (gross tonnage 141.0561 from the interstate services, 4 veseels (gross tonnage 9479) temporarily withdrawn for special trips, 6 oversea vessels (gross tonnage 74,323) which traded from Australia to New Zealand aud the Pacific Islands, and, 5 inter-State vessels (gross tonnage 5832). Tho number of vessels now employed in the inter-Stato trade was 67,' with a gross tonnage of 173,262. The report also stated that the time-tables in tho oversea services had all been suspended. '
