FRICTION BETWEEN TURKEY AND BULGARIA
STATEMENT BY GERMAN FOREIGN MMISTEE, (Reo. June 23, 11 p.m.)
Amsterdam, June 22. Von luihlmann, German Foreign Minister, speaking in tho Reichstag during a discussion of the peace terms with Rumania, referred to '•ho friction between Turkey and Bulgaria regarding the Dobruja, declared, tho present arrangements were temporary. .The Central Powers hoped that tho Northern Dobruja would shortly be united to Uulguna;. in accordance with Bulgarian 'aspirations. The question of Turkey's compensation for the Dobruja had caused great irritation in Bulgaria and lurkoy. It behoved tho Germans to refrain from expressing an opinion. They must not givo the impression that they favoured cither side, as any increase of irritation would render tho solution more- difficult.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
