BRITISH CABINET SYSTEM
WORK DELEGATED TO COMMITTEES. ■ ' London, June 19. In the House of Lords, Lord Curzon, in replying, denied that chaos existed. The delegation of work had been enormously developed. There were many permanent committees, including . Economic, Defence, and Development Committees, and the Eastern Affairs Committee. Decently there hud been added a committee on Home affairs, consisting of the I'residents of the Local Government Board and the Board of Trade and other Ministers, under the Home Secretary, to deal with all domestic questions requiring the co-operation of more than one Department. This committee would have power to decide ftin behalf of the Cabinet, but larger questions would be re-' ferral to the War' Cabinet.—Aus.-lf.Z. Cable Assn.
