PKOTEST AGAINST EXPORT PROHIBITION. Melbourne, June 21. A deputation, representing the timber and butter trades, has asked Mr. Jensen '.Minister of Customs) to mmte .representations to the New Zealand Government not to prohibit the export of white pine. Mr. Jensen said that, as the President of the Board of Trade, he would nsk that body to agree to a motion protesting against the prohibition, to be forwarded to the New Zealand Government.—Press Assn.
